‘True Minimalism’ E-Book to Help Readers Reduce Their Footprint on Society

Los Angeles, CA – “True Minimalism: Lifestyle of the Now,” a new e-book by Carey Harris, encourages readers to adapt a lifestyle that maximizes the use of multipurpose items. The e-book launches on World Environment Day (WED), the United Nations’ biggest day for positive environmental action.

“The book offers a new perspective on the concept of minimalism,” said Harris, co-founder of S&H Public Relations, and also the author of “The Guide to Financial Success Using P.R.” “It’s about taking inventory of your life, increasing your focus on the world around you and adopting true lifestyle change.”

Written for readers seeking ways to reduce clutter, and their footprint on society, and based on the author’s own lifestyle change, the book advocates maximizing the use of multipurpose items. Harris challenges readers to reevaluate their consumption by focusing on the things they use most often in their daily lives and how those items might serve multiple purposes.

The book is also ideal for individuals participating in WED activities. This year’s theme is “Seven Billion Dreams. One Planet. Consume with Care.” The initiative encourages everyone to become agents of change by taking responsibility for the care of the Earth and living more sustainably.

“We can all be more responsible about the way that we manage our resources,” said Harris. “I hope that my new book not only inspires people to consider their impact on the planet, but also illustrates that simple changes and a little creativity can go a long way, and ensure a healthy future.”

“True Minimalism: Lifestyle of the Now” will be available on June 5 through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Etsy, iTunes, Kobo Books and Google Store.
